Development Head Coach
Mike Hartwell - Contact
Responsible for developing and directing the teaching and skills development programme at the club. Mike has been involved with LSASC for 39 years, swimming competitively for the club. At the age of 13 Mike joined City of Coventry where he progressed through the ranks to the National Squad as a 1500metre swimmer under the guidance of the former GB coach Hamilton Bland. Mike remained a member of LSASC during this time and played water polo for Leamington.
Mike became involved with teaching and then onto coaching to pass on his knowledge, skills and experience to help develop the next generation of swimmers.

Responsible for the oversight of Junior Performance and Senior Performance squads, including the training, competition programmes and squad movements.

Junior Development Coach
Stuart Parker - Contact
Stuart has been swimming for over 30 years and achieved Warwickshire Champion, Midlands Champion and became National Finalist many times in 100 Backstroke as a youngster. He still swims competitively today as a master and represents the club in team galas. He is dad to Teigan in Senior Performance and Connell in Junior Performance. Stuart became involved with coaching to pass on his experience to the next generation of swimmers and has been coaching since 2009, coaching Reception Squad before taking over Junior Development in 2013.  He has achieved level 1 and 2 qualifications in both Teaching and Coaching.

Janet Welsh - Contact
Janet is a licensed level 2 teacher and a qualified ASA judge, she also represents the club at the Coventry and District Association meetings and is the Warwickshire ASA Education Secretary. Janet oversees the teaching section and looks after the Junior Swim Club and Achievers 2 and 3.
